Nasce nel Sopraceneri 1983, cresce a Lamone e lascia il Ticino al termine del liceo per studiare, lavorare e vivere in grandi città europee e mediorientali. Dopo anni torna alla base per vedere se valida l'intuizione avuta: vivere un vasto agglomerato urbano è soprattutto uno stato mentale. Ad oggi non ha una risposta definitiva ma ha sicuro una grande motivazione al fare, che la porta a fondare Lugano Bella assieme a due amici. Valeria non si definisce ceramista perché davvero agli inizi, ma è la mente dietro le nostre ceramiche e ha sinora prodotto a mano tazzini, candelabri, grandi fruttiere e mani portasapone. Sta imparando a lavorare con il tornio.
Born in Sopraceneri 1983, she grew up in Lamone and left Ticino at the end of high school to study, work and live in large European and Middle Eastern cities. After years she returns to the base to see if the intuition she had is valid: living in a vast urban agglomeration is above all a state of mind. As of today she does not have a definitive answer but she certainly has a great motivation to do, which led her to found Lugano Bella together with two friends. Valeria does not define herself as a ceramist because she is just starting out, but she is the mind behind our ceramics and has so far produced wine cups, candelabras, large fruit bowls and soap dishes. She is currently learning to work with a potter's wheel.
